The Free plan costs nothing. There is no payment to refund. This covers every paid plan — Beginner and Pro, billed monthly or yearly, and the Founding Member yearly plan. Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor.
If you ask for a refund within 14 days of your first payment for a plan:
Usage counts from your first payment, against one month's allowance. We look at reels, narrations, Premium voice characters and AI images, and the highest share used of any one of them decides the refund. Use of the free allowance before you paid does not count. After 14 days, the first payment is not refundable.
We email you before every renewal, monthly or yearly, with the date and amount. Renewal payments are not refundable. To avoid the next charge, cancel before the renewal date.
The same rules apply. If a Founding Member plan is refunded, the plan ends and the Founding place and price cannot be claimed again.
You can cancel at any time. Your paid access continues until the end of the period you have paid for, and the unused part is not refunded. Your account then moves to Free. Cancelling does not delete your content early. It follows the same storage periods as every plan, set out in our Privacy Policy.
Email hello@vidwhale.com from your account's email address. Refunds go back to the original payment method; your bank decides how long it takes to appear.
Except as set out above or where the law requires, payments are not refundable. We may refund in other cases at our discretion; doing so once does not oblige us to do so again.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days. When you buy, you ask us to start your plan straight away and agree that, if you cancel within 14 days, your refund depends on how much you have used, as set out in section 1: a full refund if unused, 80% if up to 25% used, and none above that. Nothing in this policy limits your legal rights.
We may decline a refund for an account that violates the Terms of Service.
